This humble organisation was founded in the
township of Khayelitsha, Cape Town, South
Africa. The main objective was to fight poverty
and crime through arts and culture.
Khayelitsha like most townships in South
Africa are faced with immense social
challenges that are caused by poverty and
hunger.

Bambisana Sizwe has become a beacon of
hope in the community by running a soup
kitchen so that nobody goes to bed hungry. At
the moment more 4000 meals are served
monthly to the most vulnerable members of
the community.
A arts and culture programme is already in the
advance stages of implementation in order to
help the youth realise their greatest potential.
